How can I resolve above problem? computer:Power Mac 9600/200 Ram : 128MB sofrware : Logic 4.1 Platinum Protools le 5.0.1 I have been in trouble with digi001 I/O box while performing logic. That is direct I/O ERROR. Who can help me about this problem? I'll wait someone who is genius. Thaks a lot
I have experienced this error as well. My system: Beige G3/266 DT OS 9.0 Logic 4.2.2 DAE, DSI, Direct I/O, Digi001 OMS Driver (all version 5.0.1) Apparently, the error has something to do with too many interrupts happening at once. We are currently looking into this issue with Logic and hope to work towards a resolution. Brent

Brent

Well, its been over a year. Searching the DUC has yielded no answers. I have used all Logic versions 4.2 to 4.7 and all of them still are plagued with -6031 errors when using DIO. What have been the results of your colaboration with Emagic to resolve this issue?

Weird. I'm using 4.7.0 and don't have this problem. Are you using all 5.1 PTLE extensions? (DIO, DSI...) Maybe that would be the problem? Check out this page And download DSI 5.1, Direct I/) 5.1.1 and DAE 5.1, install and see....
I run Logic with .125 buffer size (smallest available) all the time and never get those errors. When the amount of audio tracks gets really really huge for my HD/CPU, I increase the buffer size, but I don't suffer from this problems, and neither should you. Have you tried my solution?
hi i just got the digi001 and set it up with logic 4.7, it makes pop/crackle noises, does anyone here know about that? and also get the -errors but after i hit play several times it stops then comes back, pro tools is perfesct other then the buffer thing, but logic is a mess, i use a dual 450 and i tried everything, i have to de activate dio to move on with tracks recorded in pro tools and imported into logic

I'm still a litle confused by your possible solution, however. I am running the three original Digi extensions that came with the 5.0 CD/Digi 001. I'm still not sure which of them (if not all) are required for the hardware and which are just for the PTLE software. Since I don't use the software for anything other than a coaster, I might be able to turn one or more of them off, but which ones? And would I really even need to install DAE? (DP500 G4 native/Digi 001/Logic only). Since I know you to be a big Logic guy, if you could would you post which Digi extensions you are using and their versions, and I will try to replicate that on my system and see if that helps. I will download the 5.1 versions of all three in the mean time. Thanks. 'Cat P.S. Do you think Digi Tech Support will have found an answer by now? After the statement from Brent all of the posts eventually just evaporated.
