dvd2avi opening mpeg2 problem

i have a mpeg2 file which have an extansion of *.mpg. i use view all file to open the file and save it as project. when this affact the encoding to avi in the later part of the process??? like the sound is wrong or wat

ops sorry my problem is that will audio extract out from the *.mpg extansion mpeg2 spoil? becoz i try using besweet to convent it into the mp3 file. the sound is all mix up.

Maybe the wrong forum? If you want to extract the audio from a mpeg, i think you have to demux it (for example with TMPGenc). winxi

@Your problem: As winxi suggested, you will need to demux the audio from the video. TMPG is a good program for the job. From there, you can convert it to MP3 if you wish. This doesn't seem to be a DVD2SVCD problem though, so this is off to the DVD2AVI forum...
