Well I see that a few of the posts in my thread about going back to 6.1.1 where removed. there was no foul language, so my only assumption is that Digi will censor anything that questions there Software testing practices.
I asked two specific questions "for those that have done it" about going back from 6.4 to 6.1.1 first being, did you uninstall and reinstall or just rerun the 6.1.1 update, and second being concerned about any problems with sessions that where converted to 12db under 6.4 (would they convert back) i got comments from a couple people that did not do it, and although I appriciate any comments or help, I was asking two very specific questions of only a specific group of people. in my comments I put that Digi is following a Microsoft mentality of not "Compleatly Testing" there products and updates before they put them out, which I received comments from at least one User that they do, I can understand that they can't test every single scanero, but the Comments I have seen form the majority of people, there having the same problems with 6.4 which leads me to beleive that they don't test Real world scenarios in depth.
Tull unless I'm missing something your comments appear to be intact to me, unless you said something that I'm not seeing..Your comments about testing are still there on your last thread..
TULL, I don't know why I'm bothering. I guess I'm a glutton. But..looking at your system details - you have over 1gig RAM. This will cause many problems if you don't reset your virtual memory to min/max 1024/1024. This may be part of the problems you are having.
Thank you for bothering, That is Great information to know and I really appriciate it I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled back to 6.1.1, had some issues with a converted a session that had MIDI data recorded, But I had already sent that to a piano audio track, also had to tweek the CPU Settings up to 70% for bigger sessions, but all an all 6.1.1 I.M.O.O is the Better of the two I am was not trying to make you feel like an idiot nor would I ever try to do that to anyone, but I was asking specific questions of Specific people.
