To quote the general troubleshooting thread: "You should download and install the following script in your Login items in System Preferences>Accounts so that NAP is disabled upon every startup, otherwise it will default to being checked again: napsetting.app" Hi guys, How exactly do I install the script? Thanks!

Go to System Preferences>Accounts and click on Login Items tab, then on the '+' sign underneath the main window. In the window that opens up, select the napsetting.app file and click 'Add'. You can then quit out of System Preferences.

Did you restart your computer? You need to restart (or at least logout and log back in) to have new Login Items load.

Yes of course. Sorry, I forget the need to be very specific on forums. Yep - done everything as instructed. It's not a major issue to keep unchecking the box each time I start up I just wondered maybe the file doesn't work? Thanks for the speedy replies!
