Hey PDK, thank you for getting back to me. I do not really want Windows system sounds played thru the USB 6.I was only looking there because the USB 6 USER Guide said to check there to ensure it had installed.Given what you have correctly pointed out, I dont understand at all why they suggest it. In any case when I go there,it lists my Logitech desktops as the Default device...there is no mention of the USB 6. When I try to follow your steps for this menu, I just shows the same thing...there is no box that pops up with a line out option and nothing at all about Soundcard choice. I am just shown my Logi's as default and IDT Audio codec Speaker/Headphone as being ready. The only other listing is Indepenant(RTC) Headphones "not plugged in". I dont know why the options you mention dont pop up but given that windows appears to make no reference to the USB 6 as the default or otherwise ( in spite of the USB 6 user guide saying it would)..I have assumed it is not and have proceeded to REAPER prefences as you suggest. I select device...It opens with ASIO4ALL and shows inputs micIn 1 and micIn2 and outputs first and last as being my Logitechs. When I select Focusrite USB Asio driver I get completely empty boxes and nothing in the dropdowns. Enable inputs is checked. When I go to the Focusrite Audio Control panel, I get the message..."No focusrite USB devices with Audio were found attached to this computer". The USB cable is connected and the Focusrite is lit. I am just wanting the USB 6 to playback through my Mackie monitors and be able to switch to my Logitech desktops...( is this A/B ing ). They are the outputs I want ...I dont go out to any modules or anything, if that is what you were asking. I just wish to Input my Casio CTK 900 and guitar and vocals etc. Thanks for looking at this PDK.
