I tracked something this weekend, and all appeared to be normal. Immediately after we tracked I saved and went on. Now when I open the same session, it sounds like "The Chipmonks". Any ideas?? When played back, it sounds like the speed when you hit Control + 7. The sound file is also at least half as short, leading me to believe that something went wrong during tracking.

Its easy, you recod the session in 44.1 KHz and now your clock is in 48KHz, just hit aple+2 and change the sampler rate. goodluck

No, the clock was set to 44.1 for both tracking and mixing. I know what that sounds like, and this is not that.

Try running your back-up file. You did make a back-up file didn't you?

If you had a device (such as a DAT machine) that was sending clock info to Pro Tools and it is no longer connected to the Digi001, Pro Tools doesn't have the original clock source to reference and will not be able to play back at the proper speed. At any rate (no pun intended), look into your clock source. It is the most likely suspect with this issue. Gregg Montgomery Digidesign Tech Support
