Volvo Serviceing and repairs Essex

Hello I have recently aquired a volvo S80 and was wondering if anyone new of an independant volvo specialist in the essex area, i live in Hornchurch?

I was going to recommend the ones in Barkingside, I used to use them years ago and they were great but after having seen the thread I'm about to link to I'd say no but the poster recommends another in that area Have just seen it's a fairly old thread, maybe you could pm that member and see if they are still recommended?

Independent Volvo garage 

I live near Romford, Essex and I use Braydon Motor Company in Hackney, London, E5. I know it is quite a trek but I will drive the car to the garage and leave it there , then catch the train to work and return to collect it at the end of the day. I use them because they are good and know everything about Volvo's and have an exstensive second hand section which helps to keep the price down. They also have another garage in Harlow. I am not aware of any other independent Volvo garage nearby. Hope this helps.

S80 Servicing 

Would anyone have an authorised dealers service schedule for the current S80 D5. I want to compare an independent Volvo outlets service to the auth dealer's. I have a service quotation for my D5 which is approx 30% of the dealers charge. Is it too good to be true??

i use northcity autos in chigwell who have been a longtime saab dealership but have now been granted volvo authorised repairer status since stratstones departed from the fold. i also know people who use braydon motors in hackney and recommend them.
