can't really speak for the usb mics but since you already have an interface with phantom power it seems a standard condenser mic would make sense. i have the behringer c1 & you can't really beat it for the price.

USB mics in general have no or limited gain settings. That's fine for recording voices in a quiet surrounding, but far from ideal for songs and/or instruments. If you already have an interface, I'd go for a standard XLR connected mic every time.

A $99 usb mic has a $40 mic and a $40 interface built into it. Bleah... Leave them to the podcasters.
